The iPAQ rw6828 can be bought for around $750 RRP if you shop around, not a bad price considering that a lot of phones on the market currently cost 800+. So what do you get anyway?
- The phone (of course)
- 2 Plastic flip cover (very useful in protecting the screen)
- Charger and data cable
- Clip Pouch
- Installation disc
- 1x Stylus
- Hands free headphone
A word of warning about the stylus, don't lose it!! Why? Because replacements are very hard to find at retail stores and secondly it will cost a hefty $50 to get new ones if you were to order from HP.
In terms of ease of use, if you have own a pocket pc before this will be a breeze to use. For those who haven't used a pda before it might get a little time to get used to it. It took me a little while to get used to the phone functionality using the touch screen since I’ve been accustomed to use keypads for such long time.
There are some little annoying things about the phone but overall I think it's great pda/phone especially value for money. To cap it all:
The Good:
- Great performance
- Packed features and functionalities
- Good battery life
- Small size makes easy to carry around
- Nice design
The Bad:
- Memory expansion is through use of Mini SD card only
- Camera quality is rubbish
- Questionable quality of headphone provided
To turn on speaker phone, just press and hold the talk button.
ReplyDeleteI agree with that.
