Quality Time @ Knox Timezone...?

So, another usual Friday night spent at Knox Ozone. No real plans to begin with, and what else does one do in a shopping centre? We shopped! Again, despite the fact that it has been drilled into my head that there is NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING related to the Nintendo Wii in stock, other than a few games, which I already owned - we still went looking in any store that stocked electronics! Guess what the results were? Yep, no Wii accessories! Some people just never learn..

So we ended up going to Timezone to work off that Thai dinner we just had. What a disappointment that was, hell I'm suprised that place still existed, considering I vaguely remember playing there years and years ago when coins were acceptable and having your license was your first step to freedom! The game prices weren't exactly cheap mind you, and the bulk of the games were dodgy! After $28, we earned a whopping 32 tickets - woohoo! It was such a tough decision on what to spend the tickets on - in the end, 3 bouncing balls! Yays! I think after that, majority of the time was spent on those "teach young kids how to get addicted to pokies early", UFO coin slot machines. Purpose, it seems, is to strategically slot these 10c lookalike coins into the UFO and hope you hit a jackpot. With any coins you win, you can trade them in for more tickets. After 30mins, the 5 of us got nothing, not even a single ticket!

That timezone, one of the few left in existance needs to upgrade and repair their gaming machines! Those card readers I swear, just gobble up your credits, worse on faulty machines! In the end, the skill testers were too dodgy and we left with our 3 bouncing balls...

GG, Timezone...
